We are a small but with a big heart company. At Lumeun Home, our clients count more than anything and nothing makes us happier than satisfying each of our clients. In order to preserve our relationship from any misunderstanding or dispute, we need to give you some heads up on some legal stuff. We invite you to read carefully the following Terms & Conditions to make sure we are on the same page.

AVAILABILITY
All items are subject to stock availability. If we have sufficient stock to fulfil your Order, you will receive an Order Confirmation which will act as our acknowledgement of receipt of your Order. In the event of supply shortages, we will notify you by email an estimated new availability date. In case you decide to cancel your order for out of stock items, we will refund you the value of the cancelled items.
A contract is formed only if we have issued an Order Confirmation to you and only in respect of the items contained in the Order Confirmation. These Terms & Conditions form part of the contract and are incorporated to the exclusion of all other items.
You represent and warrant to us that you are an individual who is 18 years old or older, you have the authority, capacity and power to enter into a legally binding contract with us.
By paying for an Order, whether in full or in part, you represent and warrant:
- That you have read these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy carefully and in their entirety;
- Your offer to make your purchase of the items stated in the Order is in accordance with these Terms & Conditions exclusively; and
- That you will comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you must not use our website.
IT’S YOURS
The legal and beneficial title of ownership of the items of your purchase will only pass to you once you’ve made full payment. Any risk (such as loss, damage, destruction or deterioration of the items) however it arise, will pass to you upon receipt of payment for the items.
PAYMENT
You may pay for the items by using any payment intermediary listed on our website. If you choose to pay with a payment intermediary, it means you consent for us to provide documents and information about you to the payment intermediary, including documents and information containing your personal data. We are not a regulated payment processor or money service operator. We are not responsible for any payment failures or issues caused by the payment intermediaries on our website.
By authorising payment, you confirm that you are the owner or user of the payment method you have selected, and that you have sufficient funds to settle payment. We will not be liable or responsible for any unauthorized use by any third party of your credit, debit or prepaid cards, even if those cards were reported stolen.
You are responsible for all bank and other payment charges. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information in the payment process and any payments must be paid by your own funds.
Payment is made when we have received the full cleared amount of the Order without claim, deductions or set-off.
We reserve the right to refuse or reject an Order made by you at any time (even after we have sent an Order Confirmation). We will not be held liable to you or a third party for cancelling or refusing to accept an Order. If we cancel your Order after we have received payment (and even after we have sent an Order Confirmation), the payment for the Order will be fully refunded to you.
You will indemnify us fully, and keep us fully indemnified, in respect of any chargebacks or reversal of payments made by you, and any loss, cost, liability or expense incurred by us arising from or in connection any such chargeback or reversal of payments.
DELIVERY
For deliveries in Hong Kong (excluding remote districts and outlying islands that may take longer), Orders will be processed within five to seven working days from the date of purchase and items delivered to the location you designate to us when placing the Order. Orders will not be delivered on weekends or holidays.
Any request for a specific delivery time out of our stipulated schedule, needs to be addressed at contact@lumeunhome.com. We will do our best to find the best solution to meet your request but we can’t guarantee any slots availability and won’t bear any responsibility for failure to dispatch your Orders out of our schedule. Any delivery out of our schedule may lead to additional delivery charges that will be entirely at your expense.
If a parcel is not accepted and needs to be returned to us, whether it’s because of an incorrect address provided by you or due to a refusal to accept delivery, the goods will be returned to us at your expense, and you will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded. If the cost of returning the goods exceeds the cost of the products, no refund or return will be carried out.
We strive to make sure that items are delivered within our shipping window. But as there are many factors involved in the delivery process, we are unable to accept any liability if there is any delay in delivery.

DELIVERY CHARGES
For Hong Kong territory, a free delivery will be granted for any Order with a net purchase of over HK$1,500. This excludes Orders placed for furniture or items will require a specific packing and a more dedicated delivery service and care at the final destination such like very fragile or bulky items or of high value, which will result in additional charges that will be entirely covered at your expense.
Overseas orders are not qualified for free shipping. Delivery charges and timelines will be quoted by our team on a case per case basis as there are many factors involved in the calculation of the delivery charges. TAXES AND IMPORT FEES
Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country and we encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us. Upon checkout, some couriers may try to estimate these charges, however, please note that you remain responsible for any excess charges which may still be chargeable.
If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to us at your expense, and you will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded. If the cost of returning the goods exceeds the cost of the products, no refund or return will be carried out.
DEFECTS
If there is any issue with the items, please contact us by email. We will use our best efforts to address the issue with the item, provided the item was used under normal conditions and was used for the purposes for which it was designed. We may decline to address any issue if the defects or damage arise from negligence, abuse or misuse, including improper maintenance, exposure to water, direct sun light, coastal air, chemicals, accidents, air any use of which the item was not designed. Our commitments in this provision do not cover ordinary wear and tear, original imperfections, aging marks or failure to comply with our care instructions or specifications.
We take great care to preserve the character of each item. Therefore, no two items will be exactly alike. Materials have their unique characteristics. They may vary in colour, grains patterns, and texture but these are not manufacturing defects. Colour shown on your computer screen may differ from the real colour. RETURN OF GOODS
All sold items are non-refundable.
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please notify us in writing within seven days of delivery for an exchange or credit note valid for one year. We will arrange collection and you will be charged for the costs and expenses of returning the pieces, which must be paid prior to the collection.
This excludes overseas orders and orders placed for furniture.
Naturally, we cannot accept returns of custom made, commissioned or bespoke pieces nor damaged pieces. Sale or discounted items, one off items and any items damaged after you have acknowledged receipt are also not eligible for exchange.
YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Protection of your personal data is important to us. We may collect or process some personal data from you from time to time in order to carry out our obligations to you under these Terms & Conditions – for example, your address for the delivery of your items and your financial information to process payments. Please see our Privacy Policy available on our website for further information on how we process your data and ensure your data is protected.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Each of the parties submits to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong SAR courts as regards to any claim or matter arising under these Terms & Conditions.
