Created in the region of Shanghai during the early years of the 20th century, our off-white leather trunks feature a rectangular lid opening thanks to a brass lock to reveal a nicely weathered interior; often decorated with colourful or printed cotton fabrics. Their colour vary from a light washed off white to a sand beige. We always try to select some pieces that kept their original solid iron brass and that are marked with their original manufacture stamps that make them even more valuable. Those trunks are great as coffee table or placed at the end of the bed or behind a sofa or simply, placed on the floor with books or other decorative objects on the top.
Each of our pieces is hand-crafted and therefore, unique so the one you will receive may differ from the reference picture.
